Cock of the Fleet Slo Pitch Rules

- Play shall be in accordance with the current rules of Canadian Amateur Softball Association (CASA).
- A team shall composed of a maximum of 15 players, including a coach and manager, all of whom may play, and a minimum of 9 players to start a game.
- Sliding is permitted, only into second (2nd) and third (3rd) base. There is only one play at the base.
- A regulation game shall be 7 complete innings. Extra innings will only be played during play-off game(s) in order to break a tie.
- The game will end any time after 5 innings of play if there is a difference of 10 runs. In the event there is a difference of 10 or more in the top of 6th inning, the bottom half of the inning will be played.
- In tournament play where the quotient system is being applied, the bottom half of the 7th inning must be played unless the 10 run rule comes into effect.
- If a team is 15 minutes late for a game, the late team will forfeit the game to the opposing team to a score of 3 - 0.
- The type of competition will be in accordance with Cock of the Fleet Sports By-Laws, Chapter 4, para 402.
- Ties to determine play-off positions will be broken accordance with Cock of the Fleet Sports By-Laws, Chapter 4, para 403.
- The following point system will be used:
Win 2 points
Tie 1 point
Loss 0 points
Default 0 points
- The selection of the team who will represent the Fleet at the Atlantic Region Championship will be in accordance with Cock of the Fleet Sports By-Laws, Chapter 2, para 206.
