The Shearwater Skateboard Park was designed with the beginner to intermediate skateboarder in mind. It has an Urban Skate Spot type of feeling where users can focus on technical street skating and it features ledges, rails, steps and banks of various degrees of slope. Opened in July 2007, the skateboard park is located in Shearwater adjacent to the Shearwater Fitness and Sports Centre.

• All youth are welcome to use the skateboard park
• Helmets are mandatory while using this facility.
• The park will be open daily from 8am to 10pm from spring to fall.
• Anyone caught using the facility without a helmet is subject to a $130 fine
